The Job:

We’re looking for a Level 1 Internet Installer—someone who’s comfortable working at heights, Handy with tools, and understands that customer service is just as important as technical skills. You’ll be the face of SSW for our customers, installing and maintaining internet service that keeps them connected.

Responsibilities:

✔ Install broadband equipment in residential and commercial buildings & other locations
✔ Climb ladders and work on rooftops—must be comfortable with heights
✔ Run, terminate, and test Ethernet & Fiber Optic cables
✔ Align and configure customer antennas for the best signal
✔ Educate customers on their service and answer basic questions
✔ Troubleshoot installation issues and report on any network concerns
✔ Keep a professional, customer-friendly attitude at all times
✔ Tower climbing may be required after successful completion of Competent Climber training, (we provide all safety equipment).
✔ Participate in on-call shifts as assigned to respond to urgent service issues.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Must pass a Background Check – Employment is contingent on passing a background check. Certain offenses may disqualify candidates.
✔ Detail-oriented –  able to follow structured installation processes
✔ Strong problem-solving skills – Able to work through problems independently.
✔ Comfortable with working at heights and on ladders
✔ A team player who takes pride in their work
✔ Some basic networking knowledge is a plus (Ethernet, routers, OSI model)
✔ Willingness to train and earn certifications during employment (May involve travel)
✔ Valid driver’s license required for fieldwork positions involving company vehicle use. Clean driving record preferred. Certain offenses may disqualify candidates.
✔ Ability to take on-call shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

✔ Hourly Pay: $15 – $20 per hour (depending on experience)
✔ Hazard Pay: 1.5x hazard pay for approved tasks.
